Programme

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival in Wrocław, the city of a hundred bridges and European Capital of Culture 2016. The Old Town was set up in the 13th century and is surrounded by burgher houses. As there are many canals of the Odra river inside Wroclaw, the city is known as Silesian Venice.

Day 2: City sightseeing tour

City sightseeing tour of Wrocław, which is an excellent example of a multicultural metropolis situated at the interface of ethnically diverse areas. The Gothic town hall was built between 1328 -1504. It now houses the city’s historical museum. The oldest part of the city is the Ostrów Tumski Island. It shelters a complex of sacral buildings with gothic double-spire Cathedral of St John the Baptist. It was the first Gothic temple on Polish Islands and the view from its tower is splendid!

Day 3: Karkonosze Mountains · Lower Silesia

The whole day is free for individual visits and shopping. Optionally, we offer a round trip to the Karkonosze Range, where you will visit the cities of Jelenia Góra and Karpacz. Karpacz is overlooked by the dignified Mt Śnieżka (1,602 m) and here you will enjoy a chair-lift ride. Another optional programme is an excursion to the spas of Lower Silesia, which includes a visit to monastery in Wambierzyce, known as the Silesian Jerusalem.

Day 4: Departure
