Arrival in Cracow. Transfer to the region of the Beskid Mountains, a part of the Carpathian Mountains, with a lot of summits above 1,000 meters. This region is not only a famous Poland’s winter sports resort because of numerous ski-lifts and ski-trails but it is loved by mountain hikers as well. The most popular resorts are Szczyrk, Wisła, Ustroń and Korbielów. The region is also famous for its own folk art, especially lace making, which can be admired at Koniaków and Istebna. In the morning, a city sightseeing tour of Bielsko-Biała, the largest city of the region and a former centre of textile industry, incl. the Old Town with the mansions of former factory owners and colourful burgher houses. Drive with a cable car to Mt Szyndzielnia (1,026 m) and a guided hiking tour to Mt Klimczok (1,117 m), from which the scenic panorama of Beskid Mountains can be admired. You can take a rest in a 19th century hut and after that, a cable car drive down. Overnight in the region of the Beskid Mountains.
After breakfast, introduction to the idea of Nordic Walking, a sport consisting in walking with modified ski poles. Your guide will explain you how to use the ski poles and how to walk, getting the best training effects without being exhausted. After that, 2-hour-guided Nordic walking tour. During the bicycle tour in the afternoon, you will visit a farm and have an opportunity to taste house-made cheese and self-baked bread. After 3-hour-bicycle tour, free time to relax.
