Arrival in Wrocław, meeting with our tour guide, check in and walk to the Old Town. Here, you will visit a typical Polish youth club and have the chance to talk and discuss. Young Poles are very open-minded, curious and communicative. Perhaps, you will be invited to a private party or spend the rest of the evening together with your new Polish friends in the pubs or clubs around.
After breakfast, visit to a Polish school. While showing you around, pupils will tell you about their lessons, examinations and plans for the future. In the afternoon, city sightseeing tour of Wrocław with the most spectacular sights. The tour ends in the Aula Leopoldina, a well known and magnificent reception hall of the Wroclaw University. Wroclaw, located in the middle of a fascinating landscape of hills and valleys, is the biggest city in Lower Silesia. The city are is crossed by many affluents of the Odra River. Numerous bridges decorate the town and the older districts are on the islands. Most of the building monuments, including the originally restored burgher houses in the Old Town, were completely destroyed at the end of World War II. In spite of this fact, developed into a big modern city, one of the nicest in the country. The most attractive places in the former German city are: the Old Town and the buildings on the Ostrów-Tumski Island. On the colourful Market Square, the trade and cultural life is flourishing like hundreds of years ago. Here, the visitor finds breweries, restaurants, pubs and cocktail bars. More than 100.000 students live in Wrocław.
Today, you will discover the Karkonosze Range. After a city sightseeing tour of Jelenia Góra, the biggest city in the region, you will admire the wooden Wang Chapel in Karpacz. From Karpacz, you will reach the height of 1603 m of Mt Śnieżka by a chair-lift. On the top, you will have time to hike and to enjoy the fascinating panoramic view.
