City breaks Programme
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival in Szczecin, the historical capital of Pomerania and an important sailing center with lakes and forests within the city limits
Day 2: City sightseeing tour
The day starts with a city sightseeing tour of Szczecin. On the Market Square, you will find a remarkable town hall built in 1245. Opposite, there is the Loitz family house, built 300 years later. The Loitz family was a dynasty of bankers and had its own fleet when Szczecin was a member of the Hanseatic League. Other highlights of the sightseeing tour are Harbor Gate, Maiden’s Tower and Gothic Cathedral of St James. In the afternoon, we suggest a harbor boat cruise or a visit to the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes. 200 steps lead you to the tower, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view.
Day 3: Narrow-gauge railway
Free time for individual visits or shopping. Our optional programme for today includes an excursion to the Wolin National Park with the cities of Świnoujście and Międzyzdroje as well as an organ concert in the Cathedral of Kamień Pomorski. Or you can enjoy a ride with the narrow-gauge railway and admire the spa and beach resort of Kołobrzeg.
Day 4: Departure
Breakfast and departure.
